Peggy is Associate Director in Michigan for Strategic Philanthropy, Ltd. She is responsible for both business development and client services and, as part of the firm’s leadership team, contributes to products and services innovation.
Peggy joined the firm in 2016 after more than 30 years of experience as a respected and recognized advertising and marketing executive. She was the only Vice President of Conde Nast Publications outside of New York, and ran the Detroit office of the media giant (Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, among others) for over 15 years. Peggy has been well recognized for her contributions including The Advertising Woman of the Year Award and induction into the Adcraft Hall of Fame. She was also the first female president of The Adcraft Club of Detroit.
While pursuing her professional life, Peggy’s personal commitment and passion centered around the Detroit non-profit sector and her desire to help lead change, particularly for underserved populations. She translated her passion into action by assuming leadership positions on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, Franklin Hills Country Club, Detroit Institute of Arts Founders Junior Council, Michigan Arts Foundation, Jewish Ensemble Theater, and others. A dedicated leader, Peggy is a past president of Hebrew Free Loan and serves on the executive committee of Cranbrook Academy of Art and Museum Board of Governors. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan. Peggy was recently appointed to the Board of Director of Sterling Bancorp., the publicly traded holding company of Sterling Bank and Trust, F.S.B. in Michigan. She is one of the five independent directors on the board.
