Mollie’s background in conflict resolution is often extremely helpful in her work with multigenerational family foundations. Her expertise in helping people drill down to their core values and determine what’s most important to them in life is an important part of her work as a philanthropic advisor as is helping clients navigate the grantmaking process, facilitating group discussions around priorities, and, of course, effectively leading clients to solutions that impact the issues they care about. Mollie has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, an M.A. in Applied Ethics (Concentration in Health Care) from Loyola University of Chicago, and received her Certificate in Conflict Resolution from Woodbury College. Her previous positions include Founder and Director of the Office of Conflict Resolution at the University of Vermont, Staff Grievance Counselor at the University of Vermont and Manager of Mediation Services at the Center for Conflict Resolution.
Mollie is a wife and mother of a very smart young son.
