Meg has always required that a career be intellectually challenging, contribute to positive social change and provide constant opportunities for learning. Her position as an analyst at Strategic Philanthropy was preceded by working as Legal and Policy Research Assistant at NARAL Pro-Choice America, and Program Director for both the Girl Scouts of Metropolitan Chicago and Jewish Council on Urban Affairs. She has a B.A. in Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. An invaluable resource to us, in addition to her work with donors, she writes original commentaries and issue papers covering the multiple facets of philanthropy, keeping our firm, advisors, and clients abreast of current philanthropic trends and emerging topics. A self-proclaimed expert on the best dining spots in Chicago, Meg is a frequent participant in workshops and seminars at the Donors Forum, National Center for Family Philanthropy and the Council on Foundations.
