Ken understands the satisfaction and pride that results from properly planned and implemented philanthropic endeavors because of his long involvement with his own family’s foundation. After the sale of his family’s 105 year old business – Edward Fox Photography – where he had managed the business for nearly 20 years, Ken began to explore new opportunities, particularly finding a way to help non-profits with which he was involved be more sustainable. His exploration led him to us and subsequently to his role as Director of Market Development. Ken is directly responsible for helping financial and legal advisors better understand the philanthropic advisory field and the benefits of the philanthropic conversation to the client, to the advisors and to the organizations their clients support.
Ken worked in marketing and sales for seven years after graduating from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a B.S. in Marketing. He is an Associate member of the Donor’s Forum, an active member of the DuPage Estate Planning Council, has contributed columns to Crain’s Chicago Business, and is a frequent speaker to professional organizations.
A proud husband and father of two daughters, Ken loves to travel and is also a very good cook.
